INFORMATION OF TRUNG SON‘S SHRIMP FARMING SITE

1 Shrimp Faming site :

• ◊ Address : Song Chinh Fief , Binh An Ward, Kien Luong District , Kien Giang Province

• ◊ Farming product : Black Tiger Shrimp and Vannamei shrimp
• ◊ Total Farming area will be more than 1000 hectare.
• ¤ First stage is 100 hectare
• ¤ Productivity : 6-12 tons/hectare
• ¤ Farming crop of per year is two crops .The period of farming crop from 3-5 months.
• ◊ At the moment the total farming pond is 100 pond ( 1hectare / pond)
• ¤ In 2005 total farming area was 30 hectares.
• ¤ In 2006 total farming area was 50 hectares . Total production was 700-800 tons .
• ¤ In 2007 total farming area was 100 hectares . Total production was 1.300-1500 tons .
• ◊ In 2008 we are planning to expanding the farming site more than 1000 hectares

 

** Shrimp was bred and controlled to follow the clean processing :

 

• ◊ Antibiotic is not used
• ◊ Each pond of shrimp have record , map and it is daily checked.
• ◊ Sending the sample to Quality Center in HOCHIMINH before harvesting in order to check Antibiotic of each pond.

 

2. Antibiotic controlling procedures:

 

• ◊ 2.1 Shrimp feed
• ¤ Using NASA Shrimp feed supplied by CP Group Vietnam.
• ¤ Address : Bau Xeo Industrial Park – Song Than commune – Trang Bom District – Dong Nai Province.
• ¤ Feed does not contain antibiotic as well as banned chemical (Quality Standard Sheet attached).
• ◊ 2.2 Water supply for Shrimp cultivation:
• ¤ Pure sea water is deposited and filtered before pouring to ponds
• ¤ Handling waste water at sewage disposal ponds then release them to culvert

 

3. Structure of Shrimp pond:

 

• ◊ The area of one cultivating pond : 10,000m²/ pond
• ◊ The area of depositing and sewage disposal ponds : 3.300m²/ pond
• ◊ The water level of cultivating pond : 1.5m
• ◊ Culvert of cultivating pond: contain two separate culverts: Water inlet sluice and culvert pit
• ◊ Banks of cultivating pond are covered by plastic sheet
• ◊ The structure of pond’s bed : Sand-mud

 

4 .Cleaning up Pond before Shrimp cultivation:

 

• ◊ Cleaning new pond and spreading CaO and CaCO3 lime CaO and CaCO3 usage

  ◊ To reduce PH : spreading lime and cleaning pond
• ◊ The period of cleaning pond and spreading lime : 7 days

 

5.Treatment and color creation for water in Shrimp pond:

 

• ◊ Pumping water into Shrimp pond after treating water in 2 days
• ◊ Chlorine (75%) : 30ppm
• ◊ Increasing alkali to suitable content 30-40 ppm by Dolomite
• ◊ Creating color for water with micro-organism and fish protein
• ◊The period of treatment and color creation for water about 12-16 days

 

6. Restoratives and Vitamin are used for Shrimp cultivation :

 

• ◊ Enhance Shrimp strength and resistance ability.
• ◊ Poly vitamin 5gr/1kg food

 

7. Breed shrimp for Shrimp farm:

 

• ◊ Breed shrimp is supplied by CP Group Vietnam. Address : Bau Xeo Industrial Park – Song Than commune – Trang Bom District – Dong Nai Province

 

8 .Checking the residue of antibiotic in raw material before harvesting and starting processing each pond:

 

• ◊ Sending the sample to Quality Center NAFIQUAved in HOCHIMINH before harvesting in order to check Antibiotic of each pond and before processing each lots.
